Divisadero
Send feedback from the app
The quickest way to report a problem is from inside Divisadero, because it includes the technical details we need:
- Choose Help › Send Feedback…
- Describe what happened, and choose whether to include diagnostics.
- Divisadero copies your note to the clipboard and shows the report file in the Finder. Paste the note into an email to us, attach the file, and send it.
Reports include crash and performance data, never your writing. Nothing leaves your Mac until you send it. See the privacy policy for exactly what's in one.
Questions
What do I need to run Divisadero?
A Mac with macOS 15 Sequoia or later. Divisadero runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Where is my writing stored?
On your Mac, inside Divisadero's app container, and in your own iCloud account if sync is on. We never have a copy. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I turn iCloud sync on or off?
Open Divisadero › Settings, choose Backup & Sync, and use the iCloud Sync switch. Your library stays on your Mac either way.
How do I get back an earlier version of my work?
For a single sheet, choose File › Browse Versions…, or File › Save Version (⌘S) to mark a point you might want to come back to. For your whole library, choose File › Browse Backups… to restore from the automatic hourly, daily and weekly backups.
What can I import and export?
Import Word (.docx), Final Draft (.fdx), Fountain, Markdown, RTF and plain text with File › Import…, or by dragging files and folders into the app. Export to PDF, Word, Final Draft, Fountain, Markdown, HTML, LaTeX and EPUB.
Does Divisadero use AI?
No. Divisadero doesn't send your writing to any AI service, and macOS's Writing Tools are turned off in its editor. Spell checking is provided by macOS on your Mac.
Where can I get Divisadero?
Divisadero is in alpha testing now and is coming soon to the Mac App Store.
